RAW MOMENTS, REAL STORIES. CINEMATIC PHOTOGRAPHY FOR THE ADVENTUROUS SPIRIT.
Some folks swear by the "rule of thirds" in photography. Me? I love a touch of playful chaos. Real life isn't always picture-perfect, and your photos shouldn't be either. Let's capture the quirky moments, the unexpected details, the real magic of your adventures.

HEY THERE, I'M abby, your PHOTOGRAPHER.
COUPLES, SENIORS & GRADUATES, ENGAGEMENTS & WEDDINGS
I capture your special moments through photography—whether that’s the way your partner looks at you when you’re not noticing, the belly laughs that can’t be posed, or the quiet little details that often go unseen. My goal is to freeze the feelings, not just the images, so when you look back at your photos, you’ll remember exactly how that moment felt. Every story is unique, and I approach each session with fresh eyes, an open heart, and a touch of whimsy, so your memories feel timeless, natural, and beautifully yours.
BIO
THE FULL STORY

Hi, I’m Katlyn aka (Abby), the face and heart behind Bayleaf Photography. Outside of the camera, you’ll usually find me running, jotting down thoughts in my journal, or cozying up with a good book. I love anything that keeps me grounded, connected, and a little bit adventurous. At my core, I’m community-driven, and I believe life feels better when we create and share it.

That’s exactly how I approach photography. I want your session to feel less like a stiff photoshoot and more like spending time with a friend who just happens to have a camera in hand. I’ll guide you when you need it, but mostly I’ll encourage you to laugh, move, and just be yourself. My goal is to capture the real, in-between moments that tell your story—the kind of photos that don’t just show what you looked like, but remind you how it felt to be there.

For me, Bayleaf Photography is more than a business; it’s a way of honoring connection, creativity, and the beauty in everyday moments. Every time I get to work with someone, it feels like adding another leaf to this growing little community, and I couldn’t be more grateful.

Photography That Feels Like You.
